Breast Milk Storage and Preparation: New CDC Guidelines

The CDC has updated the storage and preparation techniques for expressed breast milk. The guidelines are for storing breast milk at different temperatures and apply to healthy term infants. They have 2 hand-outs that are printable. The first hand-out on "Storage and Preparation of Breast Milk" will guide a person through the proper collection, storage and use of expressed breast milk. The second hand-out on "Human Milk Storage Guidelines".
