Breastfeeding Peer Support Needed

The North Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition is recruiting four Native American women who are currently breastfed or have breastfed an infant for at least 6 months, is enthusiastic about breastfeeding and supporting a positive birth experience, and wants to support other women in the Cherokee community. The persons selected for this position funded by the North Carolina Breastfeeding Coalition with special funding from CDC must be able to work a minimum of 5 hours per week. The persons selected for these positions will be trained as breastfeeding peer counselors and birth doulas. Interested persons should reach out to Brandi Harrison at or Meghan Arnold.
